How wonderful has it been to meet you all these last two weeks as we begin our weekly lessons! It’s been a great start! I’ve been able to schedule my lessons to fit into two full days each week. This year I have one day in Rosthern and one in Bellevue. The rest of the week is taken up with administrating online pedagogy courses for the Royal Conservatory of Music and preparing for North Sky Chorale‘s next concert in November (and also preserving the last of our garden produce. It’s been a good summer!)
Of particular note – I’m so happy that the drive to Bellevue has been vastly improved with the repairs to Highway 312 to Gabriel’s Bridge! The drive has always been beautiful, now it is most enjoyable! (see the picture attached to this entry. A beautiful sunrise over the 312 looking towards the South Saskatchewan River!)
I have a number of students that are new to me, and I look forward to getting to know each one of you better. My studio this year spans ages from K to retired!
Be ready for information about a fall recital as we get closer to Christmas. My students and audience enjoyed last year’s recital so much, I hope to hold another one. Our great start to lessons signal a great year to come!
